Blue Air Flight

Postby Mavikiz » Fri Apr 14, 2017 8:01 pm

Yesterday I flew for the first time on Blue Air from Birmingham Airport direct to Larnaca and I was pleasantly surprised.

I have to be honest, I avoid Monarch, Thomas Cook , Thomson etc like the plague. They are not cheap after you add on all the extras.

I prefered Turkish Airlines to Ercan via Istanbul or Lufthansa to Larnaca via Germany.

Now I can travel direct with an airline that gives 10kgs walk on hand luggage free and up to 32kgs for an extra payment. The seats were comfortable plenty of leg room with edible food and free drinks thrown in.

We took off on time and landed on time and to cap it all the airfare was very reasonable.

With Blue Air I was on Cloud 9 :D

How did the price compare with Turkish Airlines?

Wookie, the ticket was cheaper than Turkish airlines.
With Blue air I paid £220 for a return ticket which as I said earlier included 32Kg
The ticket would have been even cheaper if I had only 10kg hand luggage, but I always bring the kitchen sink with me !!.
There is no inflight movie or entertainment channels with Blue Air but for me thats not very important.
