How do I show an image along with my username?

Postby Dan » Fri Jan 17, 2014 3:08 am

This is known as an avatar and is generally unique or personal to each user. Adding one is easy - you just need a square picture that is

- not more than 90 x 90 pixels
- not bigger than 60Kb in size

1. When logged in, click the link 'User Control Panel' At the top of the page.
2. Click the Profile tab.
3. Click 'Edit avatar' in the menu on the side.
4. Click the grey 'choose file' button.
5. Press 'upload'

That's it! Your old posts and any new ones you create will show your avatar next to them.

I have no "choose file" button.

When I click "upload from my machine", it simply returns the pictures that I have just browsed to select the picture I want.

Should I be doing something else?

When you click edit avatar it should give you 2 options, on the left , upload from my machine and chose file on the right. You need to make sure the pic you choose is the right size. Try editing a photo via photobucket first.

Hope this helps.
