Totally agree. Went yesterday and have to say the Cod was the best I've had.
Batter, as you say was spot on...light and not too crispy.

Saltys has saved me 25 euros!!!!! No longer have to pay the car insurance to go across the border to Dhekalia for fish and chips! After years of search at last a fish and chip shop that provides good cod and chips in batter that suits me. Many thanks Saltys.

Thats a very good question. I'd like to think that they don't for obvious reasons - maybe worth just asking them?

Went last night. Well it is nice. No I wasn't impressed and my husband either. He got the cod, and I got the Haddock (sp). To me they looked n tasted the same. but no difference they were the same price, and the 2 most expensive items on the menu. there is a menu at the side and I realized oh that is the take-away menu..... its the same as the dine-in menu. since we wanted to try it we sat down. we got served 3 slices of sandwich bread and 3 butter(cups). (I kind of wish there was more bread 'cuz it was good to have something to munch on while we waited for our meal; and i had butter left over.) I was looking at the menu and i realized hey there is a difference in price: take away is 14TL and dine in is 22TL ( i was mad that we didnt look carefully before, that extra 16TL could have gone to something way more important and useful.) we waited about 20 minutes (+/-); the food was good served with fries (chips) and mushy peas . but again it wasn't a WOW factor for me- sorry. I did ask about a To-Go menu and "next week" was the response of the serious lady that waited on us. I remember the battered mars bars (normal size) 4TL. pineapple fritter 3TL. ....No burgers, no chicken.
well thats my experience. everyone who goes, ENJOY!
